SEOUL, Feb. 20 (Aju News) -- Wanna One, a popular K-pop boy band, will return in March with a new album, the group's agency said Tuesday.
According to TMC Entertainment, the 11-member group has finished shooting its music video. Wanna One has previously hinted at its comeback multiple times through its official Twitter with teaser images.
The group debuted in August last year, with its members selected from a popular cable TV audition program "Produce 101 Season 2". According to Gaon Chart, a state music chart service, more than 740,000 copies of "1x1=1(TO BE ONE)", the boys' first album, were sold.
Thanks to its rising popularity at home and abroad, Wanna One became the target of "Sasaengs", or intrusive fans. YMC released a statement last week, urging enthusiastic fans to back off and respect Wanna One's private life. The agency also warned of legal action.
