SEOUL -- BTS member Jin has opened a high-end Japanese steamed dish restaurant called "Osu Seiro Mushi", according to ARMY, the group's international fan club.
Fans said Jin's restaurant was located near the artificial Seakchon lake in southeastern Seoul and displayed flowers sent by Bang Si-hyuk, CEO of BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainment.
Seiro Mushi cooks various ingredients such as pork, beef and vegetables using trays of made of cypress wood in a delicate way to preserve their color and flavor.
"It was the first time I've tried Seiro Mushi. It was so tasty," Belle Berry, a BTS fan, left a review on her blog, adding the amount of food served was a bit smaller than she expected. NanaBk0617, a Twitter user, shared her thoughts about the restaurant: "Although it hasn't been long since the shop opened, the food was great!"
Jin has joined the ranks of K-pop idols operating restaurants. A Japanese noodle soup franchise launched by BIGBANG's Seungri in 2016 has 15 stores.
