SEOUL -- Fans went crazy to buy the new official light stick of South Korea's popular boy band BTS, probably causing the crash of the website of the group's management agency, Big Hit Entertainment.

Fans use the group's official light sticks called "ARMY Bombs" at concerts or any sort of live event by BTS. Lightsticks come in many shapes and colors depending on K-pop groups or artists.

The agency's homepage experienced a bottleneck shortly after noon Friday and was completely paralyzed two hours later. Visitors can see a notice: "Service Access Waiting Guide. Now there are a lot of customers waiting for service. Please reconnect after a while."

There was no explanation from Big Hit Entertainment, but the web traffic jam came after the agency began selling the new version of ARMY Bombs and other goods through Big Hit Shop (www.ibighit.com). The new light stick is similar to the first two versions but is thinner and has a new BTS tour logo inside.
