SEOUL -- Boy band BTS will collaborate with Charlie Puth, an American singer-songwriter, at a local music award event in the western port city of Incheon on November 16. Ahead of "2018 MGA" (MBC PLUS×genie music AWARDS), Puth will hold a two-day concert in South Korea.

The event at Namdong Gymnasium will be co-hosted by MBC Plus, which produces media, broadcast and telecom products for non-free-to-air networks, and Genie Music, a major South Korean online music service.

BTS and Puth have confessed on Twitter that they love each other's music. BTS members, Jungkook and Jimin, released a duet cover of Puth's hit song "We Don't Talk Anymore" for last year's BTS FESTA, an annual anniversary event to release special content for fans.
